Christmas 2011
Wow what a great day we all had on christmas day. Presents were all appreciated and we all felt spoilt, especially me as I type away
on my Ipad2.

We all gathered at Mum and Dads at lunchtime, Christmas songs playing presents unwrapping, Danielle and Charlotte playing. We sipped on bubbles whilst waiting for our first course prawns, salmon avocado of Course.
We opened more presents its like santa’s grotto in the living room all cosy yet spacious with room to lay back and relax. Dinner is to be served its all pipping hot and delicious a beautiful turkey roast and all the trimmings, chestnut stuffing and pigs in blankets, Dad is in charge following his favourite Delia Smith recipes. Mum manages to burn an extra tray of pigs in blankets,
although they are still tasty.
Back to the sofa to digest, the music is cranked up a notch and the kids are twirling and singing along happily. Lots of photos and fun to be had as we all join in. Much later all back to the table for pudding. Mmm an assortment of delicious Christmas pudding, chocolate puds, clotted cream ice cream, vanilla custard and double cream.
More music, drinking and dancing and playing with toys I can’t quite believe the tv hasn’t been on once!
Glad not to be glued to the misery of
Eastenders for a change!

Calming down we all settle round the table to play Justin’s new trivial pursuit, it’s a newer edition you gamble in this one betting chips, in teams it’s fun. We nibble on savouries and sip wine. Tan checks out for a catnap on the sofa, so my team mate is Paul, we should of won but was cheated to the post by Terrijane and Justin.
The day comes close to an end its after 10pm and everyone has had an enjoyable day, it’s time to load the cars and make our way home, can’t believe the kids are still up and full of energy.
Good night all, and Merry Christmas!
