Metallic Gold Coin Purse

It’s Monday afternoon I’m on no tight time schedule as I browse one of my favourite ever evolving shops – Tiger Stores. I love the concept of this store and that it’s ever changing merchandise with different styles and seasons. I always end up purchasing something I didn’t know I wanted/needed, clever guys indeed. The good news is it’s all so affordable and reasonably priced.

This little beauty caught my eye…

IMG_6578.JPGIt’s available in an array of colours from light to dark greys, to cherry and damson reds, blues, greens but there was only one sparkly gold left hanging twinkling in the lights and at only £4 I had to have it.

IMG_2773.JPGIt’s a good size and has two compartments, so much room to stash your cash, cards and lippy!

IMG_2772.JPGThe leather is sooo soft with that used worn in feel to it, which I love.

IMG_2774.JPGThe lining isn’t amazing it’s kind of a mucky greenish- grey colour but that’s ok, it’s the outer leather that’s the star of the show!

IMG_2775.JPGAt the base of the purse is another compartment with a zip fastener, not sure it’s needed but kinda cute.

These little purses will make great stocking fillers this Christmas.

Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011
Wow what a great day we all had on christmas day. Presents were all appreciated and we all felt spoilt, especially me as I type away
 on my Ipad2.

We all gathered at Mum and Dads at lunchtime, Christmas songs playing presents unwrapping, Danielle and Charlotte playing. We sipped on bubbles whilst waiting for our first course prawns, salmon avocado of Course.

We opened more presents its like santa’s grotto in the living room all cosy yet spacious with room to lay back and relax. Dinner is to be served its all pipping hot and delicious a beautiful turkey roast and all the trimmings, chestnut stuffing and pigs in blankets, Dad is in charge following his favourite Delia Smith recipes. Mum manages to burn an extra tray of pigs in blankets,
although they are still tasty.
Back to the sofa to digest, the music is cranked up a notch and the kids are twirling and singing along happily. Lots of photos and fun to be had as we all join in. Much later all back to the table for pudding. Mmm an assortment of delicious Christmas pudding, chocolate puds, clotted cream ice cream, vanilla custard and double cream.
More music, drinking and dancing and playing with toys I can’t quite believe the tv hasn’t been on once!
Glad not to be glued to the misery of
Eastenders for a change!
Calming down we all settle round the table to play Justin’s new trivial pursuit, it’s a newer edition you gamble in this one betting chips, in teams it’s fun. We nibble on savouries and sip wine. Tan checks out for a catnap on the sofa, so my team mate is Paul, we should of won but was cheated to the post by Terrijane and Justin.
The day comes close to an end its after 10pm and everyone has had an enjoyable day, it’s time to load the cars and make our way home, can’t believe the kids are still up and full of energy.

Good night all, and Merry Christmas!

Spoilt Rotten Christmas 2011

Sharing moments together on Christmas morning in our pj’s opening each others gifts whilst eating smoked salmon and fluffy scrambled eggs, decided to give the bubbles a miss and opted for fresh ground smooth coffee.
Perfect setting, the tree glistening in the morning daylight and Christmas songs playing softly in the background, Tan is so excited for me to open my special gifts, he is almost bursting. First I open the smaller box of the two, it’s my signature scent that I long ran out of…I’m so happy and relaxed with the comforting smell.

Now for the finale the bigger box, wrapped so lovingly in red foil paper with a wide gold ribbon and an over sized shiny red bow.
Encouraged to open it slowly the weight and size of the box is becoming a slight giveaway and I realise I may have an idea what’s inside.
WOW I can’t believe it a white box with the un-mistakable apple logo, it’s an ipad 2! I sequel with joy and we hug and giggle on the sofa. Excited to get in the box and discover the world of the iconic apple.
Thank you to my lovely husband, it may seem like just another gadget to some but knowing Tan as I do I know alot of thought went into these gifts.
