This award-winning cleansing balm is a firm favourite of mine and it’s worth all the hype! If you haven’t indulged in it yet I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Emma Hardie is a leading UK therapist (Emma used to attend to client’s based in MichaelJohn salon Mayfair, my husband used to work there) Her products are all made in England and she is a pioneer in natural healing and skin rejuvenation.

I use this cleansing balm for both morning and night. As you massage in the balm melts turning into a lovely oil that feels amazing on your skin, you only need a pea size as a little goes a long way. It breaks down all makeup including mascara and the smell (you know how much I like smells) well let’s just say it’s amazing! The Essential oils of Orange, Neroli and Mandarin are so beautiful and calming.

To remove I always use a clean warm damp flannel. The balm comes with a cleansing cloth which is like a microfibre texture and helps remove dirt from pores. My skin is always very clean and hydrated and very soft after using it.

  • Moringa Cleansing Balm is a balanced daily cleanser that thoroughly cleanse deep in the pores, moisturises and calms all skin types
  • Grape Seed Oil and Sweet Almond Oil rich in essential fatty acids help to plump and soften
  • Moringa seed extract, Wild Sea Fennel and Vitamin E balance, purify and help to minimise the appearance of open pores
  • Essential oils of Orange, Neroli and Mandarin rejuvenate and revitalise the skin whilst calming the senses
  • Jasmine and Rose help to recondition dull, dry, dehydrated and mature skins
  • Removes all traces of face and eye make-up

This cleansing balm delivers on every promise, my skin is always nourished, plump and the appearance of my pores have improved and my skin is much calmer.

What I also really like about this product is that it is muli-use it is so pure it doubles as a soothing and hydrating mask if left on the skin for ten minutes, or you can apply a thin layer to clean skin before bed as an overnight treatment. It also works as a spot treatment as the moringa is a natural antibacterial.

I’m looking forward to using the Brilliance Face Oil sample and the other samples I have to try out. I’ve just discovered that she does a candle too if it’a the same signature smell then I want one!

6 Minute Daily Face

Your morning face routine should be just that, a routine like brushing your teeth! We all tend to think “I don’t have time” well make the time. I’m talking about 6 mins of fuss free care that will make a BIG difference to your skins appearance and feel now and long term.

1. Cleanse with a “non-foaming” cleanser. Any good quality cleanser will do the job. The crucial part is using the hot cloth method (not cotton wool) Use an old fashioned face flannel drenched in warm/hot water. Use circular movements to remove your cleanser, the flannel will also give you a light exfoliation.

2. Apply a facial serum, preferably one with hyaluronic acid if you can. *I love Dr Sebagh Serum Repair, get your from Liberty Beauty Hall London here £69

3. Moisturise with a CC or BB cream in your exact skin tone or slightly darker it must have an SPF, the tint will even your skin and illuminate for a glow. *I love Nivea BB 5 in 1 Beautifying Moisturiser Light get yours from Boots here £5.99

4. If needed dot on concealer under eyes and on any blemishes.

5. Finish with a nice even glossy coat of black mascara on your lashes, fill in sparse areas of your brows with gel/powder and complete with your favourite lipstick or lipgloss.

Ta dah! You’re good to go!

CHANEL Sublimage Comfort Cleanser 150ml

I’ve been using this luxurious cleanser for 2 weeks. I was lucky to have been given this product as a gift otherwise I wouldn’t spend £69 on a cleanser! I’ve decided to use it up as a daily essential as it’s been at the back of my cupboard “for best” which I’ve used occasionally, but in reality it will just end up going off.

IMG_3106-0.JPGThe packaging is as you would expect for Chanel, the tube is glossy as too is the black lid with the embossed double c branding on the top.
The product is a clear gel cleanser that turns into a light oil as you massage onto dry skin. Noticeably a little goes a long way, the consistency feels very luxurious and the smell is quite fresh. It comes with a Chanel cotton face cloth which you can use moistened with warm water to remove the cleanser, this completes the makeup removal process and lightly exfoliates.

IMG_3107.JPGIt leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh, smooth and hydrated without feeling oily. In fact it feels like you don’t need to moisturise…it feels wonderful!

IMG_3115.JPGI have a masque and exfoliator too, I blogged about the masque read here

Summary:
I’ve really enjoyed using this and still am using this cleanser and have noticed my skin looks healthier. I won’t be re-purchasing when this is empty simply based on the price tag, however if budget wasn’t a deciding factor I so definitely would darlings!
Lucky for me the tube is huge and you don’t need much, so I will be enjoying this for a while. You can purchase CHANEL Sublimage comfort cleanser here
