Fresh n’ Foamy Body Polish

Bliss® Blood Orange + White Pepper Sugar Scrub is a fresh vibrantly scented body scrub that lathers up for a gentle sudsy, smoothing, softening skin cleansing and exfoliating experience.

20130826-155516.jpgBenefits:
Sugar granules gentle exfoliate and smooth skin, that dissolve easily after rinsing.
Vitamins A, C and E to protect your skin.
Sunflower Oil to keep skin soft and supple.
Orange and Pepper deliver a warm, clean and invigorating scent.

20130826-155842.jpgUse on damp skin in the shower in circular motions to buff away full skin to reveal energized and polished supple skin.

The smell is subtle citrus with warm undertones, the texture is just to my liking, not scratchy but rounded and enjoyable. The foamy part is a nice surprise which makes it feel like a luxurious experience.

20130826-160007.jpgMy skins feels smooth, supple and moisturised and polished, I don’t even require moisturiser really but still apply.

At £28.60 340ml It’s a little pricey compared to my all time favorite “Soap and Glory Sugar Crush” £8 300ml (another of Marcia Kilgores fabulous beauty lines)

Overall this product looks pretty, is high quality, no fuss, does exactly what it claims and feels luxurious, so I’m gonna give it the thumbs up for a great pre/post summer body scrub!

Lola by Marc Jacobs

My first bottle was passed to me in 2009 as a gift from a work colleague who’d created hair for NY shows for Marc Jacobs. This perfume was described as Daisy’s vampy older sister!

20130620-230105.jpgUnsure at first but after a few tries I fell for it’s rose, floral, sweet, fresh, vanilla, creamy musk.

20130620-230319.jpgIt opens with pink pepper, pear, ruby red grapefruit with a punch, then mellows to the heart of the scent with peony, rose, geranium, vanilla, creamy musk.

20130620-230654.jpgCreated by Calice Becker and Yann Vasnier and with Karlie Kloss as the face of, it was bound to be a winner.

I’m on my forth bottle now so I guess it’s kinda become my signature scent by accident. It’s not to everyone’s taste neither is the design but I love the changes this perfume has as you wear it and think it looks quite pretty on my dressing table.

bliss triple oxygen instant energizing mask™

20130615-112957.jpgThis is like a mini facial in a bottle. I’ve used it 3 times and completely hooked already! I love that I can use it in the shower in the morning, it goes on damp skin, the consistency is a gel, it smell is subtle but of fresh oranges, it really wakes me up and my skin in the morning!

20130615-113247.jpgMassage in, the gel consistency is light and non sticky, easy to distribute all over the face avoiding the delicate eye area. As you massage the gel it activates and little bubbles start appearing, it smells gorgeous!

20130615-113729.jpgThen it forms into a full froth, this is the exciting bit. It’s a really nice feeling on the skin you can feel the bubbles doing their thing! It feels fresh and luxurious and most important of all I have time to use it as my daily (3 times a week) routine.

20130615-114225.jpgLeave on for 5 mins, which gives me enough time to wash my hair! Then after 5mins rinse off and pat dry. Tone and moisturise and normal. I use bliss triple oxygen +c energizing mask, see my post https://secondblonde.wordpress.com/2013/03/17/bliss-triple-oxygen-c-energizing-cream/ Team up with the bliss triple oxygen instant energizing eye gel. I’m about to start using this so will post my review.

Results: Fresh clean energized skin, completely rid of dullness to reveal skin that looks polished and like you’ve had 10hours sleep!
